LSK 41 is light yellowish liquid, readily soluble in water, it is used as anionic trash catchers in pulp process, especially for mechanical pulps.

Applications:
The normal dosage are from 250 - 400 g/ton, depending on the circumstances. It is important to make tests on-site (every pulp is different); product should be mixed with pulp (for instance machine chest pulp) at different dosages (200 - 400 - 600 800g/ton); mix gently during 5 minutes; then pulp is filtered on glass fiber filter (or centrifuged), and the filtrate is analyzed by Mutek (cationic demand); Usually, dosage that provide a reduction of 50% of the cationic demand should fit. It is important not to dose too much because it could overcationize the system.
